Payment Terms

Terms version 2026-10-27 · updated Oct 29 · California law

Each invoice is paid in full, in US dollars, within the Buyer's payment window, by a way to pay that the Site offers; an invoice unpaid at the end of its window is cancelled and adds a strike.

1. Payment window. The window is the number of business days in the Buyer's terms (five unless we set another), counted from the day the invoice is issued, and its last day is printed on the invoice. We send a reminder two business days before it ends. A payment that is waiting to clear, or a revision waiting for the Buyer, keeps the window open.

2. Ways to pay. We turn each way on or off on the Site; checkout shows only those on, with their limits.

3. Where to send payment. Our payment details are shown on the Buyer's signed-in invoice and Account pages. BuyiMax sends its payment details only by email from an address ending in @buyimax.com, and never by phone, text, WhatsApp or any other message. Any request to pay a different account must be confirmed before payment: the Buyer writes to wholesales@buyimax.com directly, rather than replying to the request, and does not pay until we confirm it. A payment sent to an account that is not BuyiMax's is not payment to BuyiMax, and the invoice remains due. Put the invoice number in the payment memo so we can match it.

4. Full amount. The full invoice amount must reach us. Fees that the Buyer's bank, a correspondent bank, PayPal or another provider deducts on the Buyer's side are the Buyer's, and any shortfall remains due.

5. Paid in full. An order is paid when what we have received, plus any Buyer credit applied, equals its total. We then buy its shipping labels, prepare it for hand-over and tell the Buyer. A payment we recorded in error, or one that is reversed, returned or not honored, is taken off the order; if the order then owes money, it returns to unpaid and its window reopens for at least one business day, and we tell the Buyer.

6. Unpaid at the end of the window. The order is cancelled, its Units go back on sale, and the Buyer's account receives one strike. At three strikes, ordering, offers and bids pause until we reset them. We charge no late fee and no interest.

7. Buyer credit. Credit from a return, a price adjustment or an amount owed back stays on the Buyer's account. The Buyer may apply it to any open invoice, ask us to apply it to each new invoice first, or ask us to pay it out by bank transfer or another way we agree.

8. Amounts owed back. When a Buyer has paid more than an invoice, or an order is cancelled or reduced after payment, the amount paid from Buyer credit returns to that credit at once, and any other amount is refunded or, if the Buyer agrees, kept as credit. We normally refund within 10 business days after the amount is settled, to the account it came from or another account the Buyer names in writing and we verify.

9. Payment disputes and chargebacks. For any problem with an order the Buyer first uses the Returns and RMA Policy or, for shortage or transit damage, the claims process in the Shipping document. Opening a card, PayPal or bank dispute for an order that was delivered as invoiced, without first using those processes, breaks the Agreement: we may contest it, suspend the Buyer's account, and recover the amount disputed, the Units or their value, and the fees the dispute cost us. A returned ACH payment also adds a strike.

10. Sales tax and resale certificates.

11. No set-off. The Buyer pays each invoice in full and may not withhold or set off any amount it claims from us, except a credit we have issued.
